SAVI - Midtown IS GREAT! Friendly staff, clean store, and a variety of stuff you need when you’re in a pinch. I live near this location and it’s one of my favorite places to shop when I need a beer or two! :)

I've come in a few times and only purchased in moments of serious desperation. The store has a strange smell, items are often stale - check the date of everything. It has a bunch of wine options so if that is what you're going for, that might be a good reason to come here? All the times I've come in I haven't been greeted and I always feel like there is a sense of chaos behind the counter. I had to capture this, 12$ for a pint of ice cream. I understand paying a surcharge given the local bodega vibe this place is going for, but this is double or even triple what it would cost at a grocery store. And luckily in Midtown, there is a grocery store a few blocks away, a DGX, even CVS has better options.

I purchased an egg and cheese English muffin and hot coffee. The English muffin was not good at all, you could barely see or taste the cheese and they put at least six eggs in it. I am 99% sure it was what made me sick as well. A friend later confirmed that she got sick from their chicken (or chicken salad) sandwich. I hate to leave a negative review but if I’m not the only one getting sick… I was sick for five days.

Savi midtown is the new Quick Trip midtown. It has turned into a filthy convenience store, with stale food, and disinterested and shady employees. It’s absolutely gross, and a shame because it was once a nice local grocery store. Expired foods, etc. The only thing left is for them to begin selling tobacco, hotdogs, and lottery tickets. It cheapens midtown. Gross.

I appreciate the convenience of location for this neighborhood store. It is located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta near Peachtree & 10th next to Margaret Mitchell House and Agora Restaurant. For years, it's been my go-to stop for quick items when I'm out and about in the area. For a small store, the variety of goods is impressive. Some highlights they offer are beer and wine, cheese varieties, baked goods, chocolates, ice cream, hot coffees, bread, milk, eggs, prepared meals, and sandwiches. You'll also see some common household products for sale. They even carry Arden's Garden cold-pressed juices. I'm not very impressed with their pastry/bakery case. The quality and freshness haven't been consistent. Their price points are a little higher than larger grocery chains, but the value is convenience. It's a plus that they're open until 10 pm. I visited this store recently and received outstanding customer service from an associate named Sam. I was very impressed with his positive attitude, kindness, and eagerness to assist. It's associates like him that make customers feel appreciated. If you live or work nearby, this store is worth a visit.
